Is there a suggested method for changing all parts to "released" from "preliminary" after using NASH tool for bulk upload? Or do I have to apply ECR to each and every part to release?

You should be able to use AML to call a Server-side method which can premote your Items.

An easy way would be to use SQL to change the state of the parts. You will need to change
State, Release Date and Current State
State = Released
RELEASE_DATE=
use what ever date you want (2011-01-14) must be in the correct format.
Current_State = Part LifeCycle map, Released ID # (42BB3B183A7748C3B4AA9D33F7BF70AC)

UPDATE INNOVATOR.PART SET STATE = 'Released', RELEASE_DATE = '2011-01-14', CURRENT_STATE = '42BB3B183A7748C3B4AA9D33F7BF70AC' WHERE (ITEM_NUMBER = part 1234' AND IS_CURRENT = '1'); Something like this should work, it is easy to setup in a spread sheet where you can have all your items listed, the copy and paste into your SQL management tool and excute the script. Always use a test enviroment to verify your code
