ACE2011 Germany is less than 2 weeks away. Hosted at the Ramada Hotel, Bad Soden, this free, day-long PLM event features a variety of Global Corporations speaking on everything from process improvement to PLM solution selection, and solving tough, real world challenges.
In keeping with the ACE International theme earlier this year, Aras's own Peter Schroer will present on the World of the Possible. Register now and be there as Peter discusses the biggest challenges facing PLM users today, including complex business process management and achieving CAD file management without sacrificing the remaining 80% of a businesses needs.
In a recent interview, Peter was asked what success Aras has had with complex business process management. He quickly pointed to a major automotive supplier with 75,000 employees at 197 locations in 35 countries that chose Aras for global component and product structure management; a feat they had attempted to tackle several times before, always coming up short with limited visibility, long rollout cycles, and heavy expense.
Peter also pointed out that the US Armed Forces is relying on Aras for As-Built configuration management of assemblies with a million+ parts. Finally, he tells us about a leading aircraft manufacturer that worked for 12+ months to unsuccessfully implement CMII configuration management processes before throwing in the towel and switching to Aras where complete CMII CM was achieved in a matter of weeks.
Of course these are just a few examples of the critical processes companies are managing successfully with Aras where legacy PLM just can't compete. To read the full interview visit the Aras German Blog.
