Whats New

3D View Streaming

3D Visualization now includes the option to configure an alternate Viewer and framework for viewing 3D CAD data that is optimized for larger and more complex assemblies. The Streaming Viewer supports both client and server-side rendering, which reduces client hardware requirements.

SVG Image Export for Dynamic Viewer

An SVG Image Export button is introduced in the Dynamic Viewer to export an SVG of the current 3D Canvas.

Modify a Saved View

Saved Views can now be modified, including renaming and updating the view through modifying each Saved View in the 3D Viewer Views tab.

Load Multiple Saved Views

Multiple Saved Views can be loaded in the Dynamic Viewer using selection checkboxes in the Viewer tab. The camera, applied parameters, and rendering configuration will be determined by the primary Saved View. Loading and Unloading additional Saved Views will only affect the visibility status.

Updated Support for New CAD Formats

The 3D Viewer supports updated CAD formats for CATIA, Creo, NX, Parasolid, Solid Edge, and others. See the Subscriber 3DV Support Matrix for details.

3D Saved Views with Instance Support

3D Saved Views now supports the ability to distinguish the visibility and transformations applied to individual instances of components.
