Here is situation, we have 1 ItemType called a "Drawing", and another ItemType called "Change Request".
We would like to use Aras' built in revision tracking on the Drawings. However a situation arises when we want to link a Change Request Item to an older revision of a Drawing.
In short, the Change Request Item has a relationship to the Drawing Item. What I would like to happen is when we go to create the relationship between the Change Request and the Drawing, I should have the ability to pick ANY of the past revisions of the Drawing (Not just the current Revision).
I imagine this has had to come up in the past, has anyone figured out any clever work-arounds? I don't want to have to resort to creating a new Item for each revision in the system.
